Sidewalk on Summit
A safer path for children, commuters, and residents.
The Riverside Association is partnering with the community to explore the feasibility of a sidewalk along Summit Road to improve safety for school children, commuters, and residents.
Before the Town of Greenwich can consider evaluating a potential sidewalk project, at least 75% of homeowners along Summit Road must indicate their support. We are requesting homeowners along Oval Avenue and Summit Road complete the Sidewalk on Summit Resident Survey.
Why a Sidewalk on Summit?
Safety for Children
Creates a dedicated space for children to walk and bike safely to school, parks, and neighborhood destinations.
Safety for Commuters
Connectivity
Provides a safer route for residents walking to and from the train station, especially during early morning and evening commutes.
Connects Riverside and Old Greenwich by filling a gap in the existing sidewalk network and improving walkability throughout the community.
